Israel-Kenya Agri Challenge

We are pleased to inform you that we have recently launched the Israel-Kenya Agri Challenge, an innovation competition seeking to identify the next big innovation in smallholder farming, hosted by the Embassy of Israel to Kenya together with our partners from the Pears Program for Global Innovation at Tel Aviv University.

The Israel-Kenya Agri Challenge will promote collaboration and cooperation between Kenya and Israel by connecting Kenyan entrepreneurs with their peers in Israel, one of the leading countries in the world in agriculture technology.

We invite all Kenyan entrepreneurs working with smallholder farmers or along the smallholder farmer value chains to take part in the Challenge and submit a "3- minute pitch" of their ideas for transforming smallholder farming in Kenya. The winner of the Challenge will win a trip to Israel, sponsored by Amiran Kenya.

The deadline for the submissions is Friday April 17th 2015.

Please find below a flyer giving more details on the Agri Challenge.
