Our classes are taught in English, and aim to meet the growing need for a new generation of well-rounded academics who combine expertise in a specific area of food safety and security, with a broad knowledge in other related areas. Program graduates are anticipated to produce research that will underpin advances in food security, the development of novel technologies, and the formulation of policy that will positively influence the sustainable availability and quality of food around the world.  In addition, the programs will prepare food security and food safety experts for employment in the private sector, government and international development organizations.

We currently offer a Summer Institute and will soon offer a Graduate Concentration (similar to an undergraduate minor).
