Join us for the 2016 Summer Institute!

 

The following courses will be offered, registration is required:

Week 1 (July 3-7)

  • Introduction to Food Security (9:00-15:00)(last year's syllabus)

Week 2 (July 10-14)

  • Plant Molecular Breeding** (10:00-16:00) (syllabus)
  • Desert Agriculture* (8:30-13:00)
  • Food Security Policy and Economics (8:30-13:00) (last year's syllabus)

 

Week 3 (July 17-21)

  • Nutrition and Public Health* (8:30-13:00)
  • Plant Epigenetics and Gene Expression in Changing Environments*# (14:15-17:45) 

* Pending approval

** As lab space is limited, prerequisites include relevance, student commitment, and lecturers’ approval.

# As part of the I-CORE agreement, Israeli students can sign up for this course using the inter-university agreements, see here.
