Exploring the Creative Process in Science: A Unique Workshop for Postdocs
TAU’s first Night Science Postdoc Club session, led by Prof. Itai Yanai
Yesterday, Tel Aviv University hosted a special workshop on The Creative Process of Science, attended by researchers and students from the Shmunis School of Biomedicine and Cancer Research.
The event marked the first local gathering of the prestigious Night Science Postdoc Club, which has been launched at leading institutions such as Harvard, Stanford, ETH Zurich, EMBL, and NYU.
Led by Prof. Itai Yanai (NYU), a biochemist and co-creator of Night Science, the interactive session focused on unlocking scientific creativity. Participants explored key topics such as improvisational thinking, interdisciplinarity, and the dynamic balance between data and hypotheses.
The event, held at The Green House, provided postdoctoral researchers with new perspectives on fostering innovation in their scientific work. The engaging discussions and hands-on exercises highlighted the role of creativity in driving groundbreaking discoveries.
