International Program for Master in Science (M.Sc.) in Plant Sciences
UN World Food Summit 1996:
“Food security exists when all people, at all times, have physical, social, economic access to sufficient safe and nutritious food that meets their dietary needs and food preferences for an active and healthy life.”
With over 7 billion mouths to feed globally, ensuring a secure supply of food is a burgeoning and critical challenge for scientists and policymakers alike.
Implementing a multidisciplinary methodology, this program brings together academics from a wide spectrum of fields to contribute expertise and share knowledge for educating a new generation of well-rounded academics in obtaining a broad understanding of the complexity underlying plant biology and food security.
